shaq getting less shots, but not complaining?
the big hypocrite has had 7, 8, and 10 shots in his last three games. given that he’s going up against eastern division power forwards posing as centers, and is getting less shots than he has in his entire career, you’d think he’d be upset. a team ball player like bill russell could care less how many shots he was getting, but shaq has made a career out of complaining that he needs the ball more, if his team wants him to rebound and play defense.
but not now?

misprint? taken out of context? hmm… maybe shaq has finally realized that the if he starts making the game about himself again, after doing it with penny & kobe, he’ll tarnish his legacy for sure this time.
shaq’s a lovable, funny guy on one level. but his moody “me” attitude with the lakers seriously affected his relationship with the team, and with kobe.
“The good thing about Dwyane is, he gets his but he keeps everybody else involved,” O’Neal said. “That’s the sign of a great player, rather than taking 40 shots to get 20 points.”
40 shots to get 20 points… he’s trying to make a sublte slam at kobe. he’s exagerating, and somehow trying to defend against the argument i’m making above. trying to defend his positive attitude, even in the wake of him getting the ball less than ever before. shaq will be pms’ing by the all-star break…will be fun to watch!
oh, and the clank-fu-o’meter reads: 42% . the lowest free throw percentage of his career.
